Friends of ECPS

Who we are?

We are a organisation made up of volunteers including parents, carers and school staff. We work in partnership with the school and parents to enhance and enrich your child’s school experience. If you are a parent, carer or staff at the school then do you know you are automatically a member? How you get involved is up to you!!

Our aims

  • To raise funds to benefit all the children attending through additional resources.
  • To support the school to give all children attending the best possible opportunities and expectations in life
  • To develop effective links between staff, parents and others associated with the school

Why get involved?

We offer a support and friendship network to all members of Easington Colliery Primary School
You can gain a greater insight into how the school works and have a say in your child’s school experience (however this doesn’t include curriculum content or school policy).  You can have a say in how funds are raised and suggest how they are spent.

There is no obligation or expectations of how and when you get involved. You can either just make suggestions, just attend meetings, volunteer for an hour at an event each term or simply support our fundraising schemes. IT’S UP TO YOU!!

Everyone is welcome

If you would like to be involved, please contact the school office.

Future meetings

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 13 November 2019 at 3.00pm.
